Beautiful cottage in a fabulous location. Excellent facilities, cosy and homely. A home away from home and magical over Christmas! Very well equipped and very well thought out provisions. A very handy guest book with FAQs, information on the property etiquette and local area was very helpful. The property had good phone signal (EE & Vodafone) and a smart TV loaded with various streaming services which you could sign into. Made our cosy Christmas evenings in from of the log fire really enjoyable. We have already booked again. Thank you for a magical stay!

Located within the Cairngorms National Park, the village of Laggan is surrounded by the Monadhliath and Grampian mountain ranges. Featured in the television programme ‘Monarch of the Glen', the village and its surroundings offer incredible scenery and a wide variety of wildlife such as golden eagles, osprey and red deer. Just eight miles away is the town of Newtonmore, which overlooks the River Spey in the national park. Boasting several shops and pubs as well as the Newtonmore Craft Centre and two award-winning museums, this town makes a great place to spend a day out with the family. The wider area offers golf, fishing, pony trekking, walking, bird-watching, climbing, skiing and cycling, in addition to the Laggan Wolftrax mountain bike centre.
