Very cozy cottage feel. Staff were wonderful, very helpful. Also there is EV charging which if that’s not advertised it should be - it helped out figuring out charging a lot!

Great location for shops and restaurants and pubs in the village. Easy to find and get to and from. Breakfast was excellent. Great quality and well cooked hot food. Great selection of cold items. Good selection of single malts in the bar and the barman I spoke to was well informed about whisky. The room was warm and comfortable and a had good sized bathroom and comfortable bed. Reception staff were informative and helpful, polite and friendly.

Aviemore is a great base for exploring the Cairngorms National Park. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, beautiful scenery and easy access to walking trails and nearby attractions. The town has several good restaurants and cafés, making it a pleasant stop on a Highlands road trip. One night was just right for us, but outdoor enthusiasts could easily spend several days here.

Terrific for cycling families like ours.

Terrific for cycling families like ours. We did several trails and loved them for their beautye and safety away from traffic. The steam train experience was special. Wish we had discovered Ashers bakery earlier in our stay.

Aviemore is in the Cairngorm mountains, a beautiful area...

Aviemore is in the Cairngorm mountains, a beautiful area less than an hour drive east from Inverness. For hikers, Glenmore park is nearby. Lake Morlich has sandy beaches, crystal clear water and a campground. A day and half was not enough for us to savor this beautiful region. Aviemore town has restaurants and grocery stores and even a very professional CrossFit center with an excellent cafe.

Great place to stay or to stop off when heading further north. Good amenities with everything available and good choice of food and drinks available from numerous bars, restaurants and hotels. Views obviously to die for and Aviemore is a prefect gateway to the wider Cairngorm area.

· Fab location with loch and hills right on your stop. Nice vibe in bar with life bands. Does food too! Pod well equiped, crokery, micro, kettle....would have been handy if it was filled on arrival though! Disliked · Ourdoor space at pod not great. No hot water for washing dishes. Nobody seemed to know about bus times. Route to toilet facilities not direct, you need to go up to come back down. Towels had seen there best and a bit mismatched. For info/planning: Return taxi to aviemore £ 20

We only stayed one night to break up a journey to Ullapool.

We only stayed one night to break up a journey to Ullapool. However we liked it a lot, beautiful area. Town was bigger than we expected - and busier. Can imagine it would get really busy in Summer and ski season. We are thinking of return to see snow in winter. Close enough to Inverness to fly up.

Pool was lovely, plenty of parking, lots of onsite kids activities. Bathroom was lovely. Lots of choice at breakfast (standard but something for everyone). Easy access for walking/hiking, and bus to Aviemore stop by hotel.
