Wheatley is a large village only 5 miles form Oxford, near A40 and M40. To the East of the village are Shotover Hill and Shotover Park with spectacular views from the top across south Oxfordshire. Waterperry Gardens are 2.5 miles away from the flat and are open all year around. Made famous by Beatrix Havergal who established her School of Horticulture for Ladies here from 1932 to 1971, it’s now home to 8 acres of beautifully landscaped ornamental gardens, a quality plant centre and garden shop, gallery and gift shop, museum and tea shop. One of the most cherished manor house hotels and restaurant Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons is 3 miles away form the apartment. The flat is a short walk from the High street with shops , Indian restaurant / pubs, Chinese takeaway , fish and chip shop, and bakery .
