Wenhaston is perfectly situated to explore the Suffolk Coast. Southwold and Walberswick are a short drive away or for the more adventurous you can cycle over to Walberswick and get the ferry across to Southwold. It is also possible to cycle south towards Dunwich and RSPB Minsmere taking in the beautiful countryside which makes up part of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The area offers superb opportunities for wildlife watching. Besides the pubs in the village there are a number of other places locally that provide fantastic food. Southwold has a number of restaurants and cafes, try the Two Magpies Bakery for a tasty treat or The Crown serves food made with local produce.
