Located in Lowestoft and within 1.6 mi of Claremont Pier Beach, The Wolf Inn has a bar, nonsmoking rooms, and free WiFi. The rooms in the hotel are fitted with a flat-screen TV. I would say the only downfall was parking , we parked in the pub over the road but they do issue fines out per day, we just hoped for the best and was lucky enough not to get a ticket, other than that everything was amazing! The room was beautiful you wouldn’t expect this room to be situated where it was . The bar underneath was quirky inviting and had a really good time in there, staff are amazing, location is fantastic too we even had a drive to great yarmouth beach which didn’t take us long, everything is there to hand we enjoyed it so much that we most certainly be returning! We stayed in the superior room amazing value got money it was better than expected!

Hotel Katherine, The Hog Hotel, and Hotel Victoria are some of the popular hotels in Lowestoft.
Lowestoft town is a bit run down but has places to eat. A good beach holiday for families. Flat walking along the long prom. Visited the Hatch for coffee, very popular for food too. Ate at Witherspoon’s in the town which was good value for money. Good bus connections to Norwich, Southport etc.
The lovely weather was a big asset to our stay. Aside from a magnificent promenade and beach south of the town Lowestoft, itself, is pretty unremarkable, though to the west lies Oulton Broad and it's surroundings where interesting walks and some nice places to eat can be found. The most potentially interesting part, the old town around the High Street, is a bit run down, but ripe for development to match the appeal of Suffolk's more salubrious coastal towns further south. Suggest dining at The Jolly Sailors in Pakefield and Mark G in the High Street. Shout out to lovely Lawrence at Salvina's sweet shop, too!
Lowestoft is often underrated or overlooked as a destination. The beach and sea front are superb and there are loads of places nearby to visit. The Victoria is a traditional hotel with very good service and offers value for money. I would recommend Iconic bar and restaurant near the South Pier as quirky and excellent value for money.
I love everything about lowestoft, especially the hotel Victoria, a Amazing building so much character, you can't beat those sea views.a long walk on a clean sandy beach, very friendly staff at the hotel, such a clean room.
I liked the fact most places are in walking distance. I loved the sea front. Nothing better than a stroll along the promenade. If you head north walk along the high street is a good choice. At the top end there are a lot of small specialist kind of shops. Depending how adventurous you you can find your way to the most eastern point. I did walk to Oulton and google sent me through the side roads which was good. I have to say I personally felt the people were more friendlier than where I live. Having people say good morning is a rare thing these days. As a traveller/tourist Lowestoft is a nice place. If you visit enjoy your time there.
Lovely beach and a few good restaurants. An industrial town with a tourist upside. Try the Iconic restaurant for a nice dining experience. Town a little drab but has pretty good bus service to other coastal centres.

We was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. The hotel is situated in a very nice and quiet location within easy reach of the town. The bar area is also nice and roomy with a relaxed atmosphere and the service at breakfast was excellent.
Lovely clean room overlooking the broad. Also, very importantly, there is plenty of free parking around the hotel. Staff all very pleasant. Prices in the bar and restaurant the same as you would pay in a pub so no problem there.
