From Fron Cottage you can enjoy superb walking routes and mountain bike trails exploring the magnificent Tanat Valley and the other surrounding mountains and hills. Trips to Lake Bala aren't complete without visiting the Bala Lake Railway, a 9 mile round trip which journeys alongside Bala Lake, through the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and all with stunning views of the lake, surrounding scenery and the nearby mountains of Arenig Fawr, Aran Benllyn and Aran Fawddwy. Water sports of all kinds can be enjoyed at Bala Lake and Lake Vyrnwy. Take on the exhilarating downhill and freeride trails at Revolution Bike Park, less than a mile from Fron Cottage. Situated towards the west coast is Snowdonia National Park, covering 823 square miles, there are uncountable stunning views across the diverse and dramatic landscapes.
