Company info

Following a successful career as an Electrochemist, Sue bought some land at Upper Hurst Farm and got planning permission in 2011 to build a touring site which comprises 25 super pitches and 15 tent pitches, plus a manager's pitch. She also sympathetically renovated a hayloft and cowshed to create a beautiful family home. This was followed by the renovation of a little Piggery to create Gaia Lodge with wood fired hot-tub. More recently, she created a magical retreat in a wildlife corner - Gaia's Hideaway. This comprises an authentic Mongolian Yurt with a generous decking area and wood fired hot-tub. properties have uninterrupted views over the Derbyshire hills and the location is simply awesome. Sue is not afraid of saying that she has a gift - to create beauty - so that others can come here to unwind, relax and therefore to heal. Much pleasure and satisfaction is taken from sharing this little paradise with you, and you are welcomed wholeheartedly to Upper Hurst Farm to enjoy the peace and tranquillity and reconnect with your lovely selves!

Property info

Gaia Lodge is very tastefully decorated and is furnished to a very high quality. It has fully controllable underfloor heating and also has a log-burner for cosy nights in. The red cedar, wood-fired Hot-tub is extremely private and sumptuous. It is also chemical-free. Location is truly exceptional - being rural and enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding hills with a Derbyshire Dale and a Staffordshire Dale both within 1 mile. The cottage is lavishly furnished with hand-made linen curtains and blinds, goose-feather & down pillows and duvet. We also have Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels and fluffy dressing gowns. The hot tub is heated for your arrival.

The Peak District National park is a place of stunning beauty with rolling hills and incredible Dales. It is also teaming with picturesque villages and quaint market towns. It is also the home to the Chatsworth House Estate and Haddon Hall.
