The customer service and accommodation was excellent, the staff went out of their way to give a good service. Sunday breakfast is at 8am and we needed to have breakfast at 7am and they had staff come in to make breakfast for us.

United KingdomLocation s an easy 5 - 10 minute walk into the central area, station, shops etc. The room was generally quiet for a hotel. Bathroom was great because I didn't have to do contortions around the fittings and the shower completely worked and was quick to warm up! Newport is not the most glamorous place but access is via well trafficked main roads and road traffic quiet, to non existent at night. There are a couple of decent bars either side of the road just before you reach the bridge into the centre. The one on the left does food. Centre places for food are good during the day. Other bars not recommended in the evening. Just over the bridge I can recommend Eshalls' Fish and Chips and opposite is a great cafe for lower priced food, both clean and good value and right next to a bus terminal, 50m from the subway after the bridge.
United KingdomI spent 1 night there as I was travelling for business. Nice English breakfast. The lady at the reception was lovely. The room was nicely warm, the room was tidy and net. I would more definitely stay there again!
