Great location downtown near shops and stores. Clean, well appointed room. Staff were pleasant and obliging.

Secure car park. All shiny and new hotel. Staff absolutely lovely, best customer service we have ever had. Great welcome at reception, attentive staff, great breakfast again all with amazing staff.

The Priory was a wonderful surprise! We booked it because I've been wanting to stay someplace historic and The Priory didn't disappoint! From a very warm welcome by Emily to the assistance retrieving something accidentally left behind, they were helpful and accommodating. Thank you again. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, absolutely beautiful, and quite big. The restaurant, the bar, the sitting areas. It is all just so lovely. The food was very VERY good - we had dinner twice and loved every bite. The grounds are dotted with impressive sculptures, benches, and a beautiful view of the river. The car park has plenty of room. And the best thing about the Priory was the staff! From start to finish they were incredibly positive and helpful. Each and every person we interacted with in our three day stay was phenomenal. Harriet and her team are kind and caring people. Five stars to them! The town of Caerleon is located on a Roman settlement that once housed over 7000 troops. The remains are right there for you to see! From the legion barracks to the amphitheater to the fantastic museum - what an incredible treasure Caerleon is!

It's was so accommodating

The accommodations were a perfect stop over between a night out in Bristol and traveling north deep into Wales.

Excellent staff, very accommodating.

We liked everything about our stay and would recommend it unreservedly. The air-conditioning made it very comfortable during the unseasonably hot weather (24 degrees C in October!). It was also excellent value for money.

I love staying here. Great facilities, clean and tidy rooms,beautiful location,friendly staff.

The rooms are very nice, as required by a reasonably good hotel, the linen and bedding are clean, the rooms are tidy, there is a large desk to work from, there is pleasant staff, and there is a free car park. Fire alarm fitted.

Very nice people nothing too much trouble for them a lot better than the Victoria hotel 24 /7 More comfortable and cozy there is a nice bar down stairs

Tradition is captured and celebrated in The Manor House, which has retained its class and interior splendour. Celtic Manor is THE ultimate sport, leisure and business 5 star hotel experience. Never disappoints.

The staff were particularly nice and accommodating.the room was spotless and the comments about it being dated are unfair, it is class and quality in my opinion. I would definitely stay here again but I would eat at their restaurant rather than locally as it is very appealing and the pub we went to was exceptionally underwhelming.

The staff were extremely welcoming. The hotel was quaint and quirky being 15th century. There was a cosy fire in the bar which we enjoyed whilst having pre-dinner drinks. Our room was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. We ate at the hotels Nepalese Regency 59 restaurant and the food was fantastic. Sadly because we had eaten so much we could not do the following mornings breakfast justice! What we did manage was delicious. It was perfectly placed to explore Abergavenny Town and we will definitely be back.

The pub was a cosy place for a drink before dinner, and the staff were friendly. The restaurant food was excellent, and very good value for money. Our room was very comfortable and warm.

Lovely room and nice to have a refrigerator in the warm weather! We were right above the extremely noisy outdoor dining patio, but all fell quiet around 10 pm and we had no trouble sleeping. Great location in the heart of Monmouth. Enjoyed visiting with the hotel dog "Hugo" at breakfast.

Carly and the team were really accommodating and friendly . They gave our group of nine a great welcome. The terrace was an ideal place to take an evening drink in the sunshine with a stunning view over the valley and mountain. There was a quirky open mic night to entertain us The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable . We were provided with a delicious very early breakfast, all cooked freshly to order, which gave us a great start to our long days walking.. On our return, despite us being a bit late and the Roadhouse having had an extremely busy day, we were greeted with lovely staff and the chef preparing delicious food to order for us. This is a quirky place, not luxurious but full of character and we loved it. A shout out to everyone who works there with Carly
