The bedrooms consist of two doubles with en-suites, and two twins, serviced by a bathroom. Bovey Tracey is a beautiful, small town known as "The Gateway to the Moor" lies tucked away in the River Bovey valley. The winding river that runs through Bovey Tracey gave the town its name, with "Tracey" standing for the family that held the manor following the Norman Conquest. It has a rich history that includes significant role in the English Civil War, which gave the town's bar, "The Cromwell Arms," which offers excellent ale and delectable food, its name. The History Centre, which is next to the Dartmoor National Park Authority, has information on the town's past.
