Dinner was perfect. The Lamb was truly exceptional both in the quality of the meat and the cooking of the lamb- truly stunning- and we have had a lot of lamb! Breakfast was very good too. Would definitely stay at The Porch House again. My wife and I loved it .

It features inglenook log fires and original timbered ceilings, all set off by period furnishings. Over 400 years old, the period quality extends into the unique and spacious 4-star bedrooms. Some rooms are set in the oldest parts of the hotel, with views of the Berwyn Hills, while all have a private bathroom. The restaurant has won multiple awards for the quality of its service and the creative menu. The kitchen’s fresh, seasonal produce includes Ceiriog trout and locally farmed Welsh Beef. Local real ales are stocked in the relaxed Lounge Bar, which also features a large fireplace and an antique confessional.
