The place itself was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the little Gem. What really made it stand out for us though, were the health and spa facilities that are also on offer. We decided to treat ourselves one day and booked ourselves in for the whole morning. We flitted between the jacuzzi and the sauna before taking a break for an hour long massage, then paid another visit to the jacuzzi before taking afternoon tea. It really was an exceptional way to spend our morning together and we both recommend doing it at least once during your stay.

Established over 35 years ago with just a handful of cottages, the company has grown to the point where we now successfully market a wide variety of properties throughout the region. Family run to this day, we are still able to offer that personal service which sadly in today's ever increasing pace of life can sorely fall by the wayside.

A entrance door leads into an open plan living area with a dining area, comfy sofa and a large TV. There is a super king size bed that can be made up as two singles on request and a wardrobe for storage. Off the open plan living/ bedroom area, one step down leads to a fully fitted kitchen with integrated appliances. Leading off the kitchen area there is a shower room with a walk-in shower, W/C and sink. There is a small private courtyard next to the property which is ideal for enjoying a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. A BBQ, garden furnitre and a shed for storage are provided for your use. Private off-road parking for one car is available. HOLISTIC TREATMENTS & SPA: Holistic treatments, or your very own private spa morning with use of a hot tub, sauna, stunning gardens to relax or sunbathe in a magical relaxation rooom and terrace are available to book at an extra cost during your visit with the Host, Maria, a highly qualified and experienced therapist. Early booking advised to avoid disappointment. Hidden Gem Retreat is next door so why not bring friends or family and make lovely memories at East Devon.
