Nestled in the heart of North Shields, and in close proximity to Tynemouth, you’ll be perfectly placed to enjoy the many independent restaurants, shops and bars nearby. Sleeping up to four guests, this ground floor apartment is an ideal base for romantic retreats, family staycations and getaways with friends. Belford Apartment also accepts two well behaved dogs so your four-legged friends can enjoy a holiday too! Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver.

North Shields is on the north bank of the River Tyne and is a working fishing port. The Fish Quay has an array of culinary delights with lots of good restaurants to choose from. There is also the option to eat al fresco with fresh fish and chips, while sitting and overlooking the Tyne, watching the vessels pass by. The Old Low Light, once used as a means for navigating ships back into the Tyne, is now a facility run by volunteers celebrating the history and heritage of the area. It features a museum, shop, café, event space and viewing platform. Royal Quays is built on the site of former docks, home to the North Shields International Ferry Terminal, outlet shopping, bowling and family activity centre. Nearby Tynemouth is an upmarket seaside town. Boasting a beautiful sandy beach, a Victorian boating lake and an array of independent cafes, restaurants and bars, there is truly something for everyone in Tynemouth. Enjoy relaxing walks along the seafront, amble along the promenade to the popular North Shields Fish Quay or explore the Blue Reef Aquarium. If you have little ones, they’ll love Tynemouth Park where there is a dinosaur themed mini golf course and pedalo boats.
