Superb cottage in a great location for both Brosely and Ironbridge The host was brilliant - kept in touch to make sure everything was as it should be and gave us lots of little tips etc for the area Would be helpful if there was a 2nd loo but appreciate that nowhere for it to go Cottage was warm and lots of hot water

As hosts already for another property, we are bringing the same level of standard and service to this new property of which you will also have exclusive use of the cottage which is suitable for either , groups and corporate and families (including Travel cot). The conventional lock box which facilitates flexibility for guests to check in at a time that's convenient but please contact us as in many cases we can be flexible with regards check in and out times or at least baggage storage to suit your itinerary.

Property info

3 bedroom cottage built same year of the nearby world heritage Ironbridge (1781) and conveniently located within this pivotal area of Shropshire, which was once the beating heart of The Industrial Revolution and no shortage of things to do within this heritage area, and furthermore there is 6 square miles of beautiful wooden valley, and no fewer than 10 museums and historic buildings within this locality. The cottage is quite quirky being so old with no garden, but free off street parking, and no window in the second bedroom, but gets its light from glass blocks from the natural light from the bathroom with a blind to shut at night.

Neighborhood info

Ironbridge is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in heart of idyllic Shropshire. If you are looking to experience a village environment, the cottage is situated conveniently in the conservation area of the historic village of Broseley Wood , 15 minutes steep walk to Ironbridge and centrally positioned between other areas of Shropshire like Bridgenorth, Shrewsbury and Much Wenlock etc. But before booking please note that there is a steep walk back up to the cottage from Ironbridge and also there is no outside space but there is free parking anywhere along the street and that the 3rd bedroom natural light is through glass wall tiles with a blind for night time If travelling by train, the nearest train station is "Telford Central" then a short cab journey fare or number 8 bus from nearby Bus Station
