Breakfast was delicious with a good selection for all tastes. The location is in a large double height space which can feel impersonal as it is often reconfigured to provide breakfast for wedding guests at long tables, which harms any feeling of intimacy.

The purpose of our trip was not a happy one unfortunately. The staff could not have made us feel more at home.
I hope to return in happier circumstances in the future.

Stayed in a family room - room was big but the double bed seems smaller than our double bed at home. Location is along the high street and near a Coop so very accessible. They also have a nice garden at the back you can enjoy during summer.
Breakfast was included. I liked that they have cereals, spreads, juices and coffee available so we don’t need the staff for these when we need them.
The stylish and friendly Priory Inn is a privately-owned hotel and restaurant, just a few minutes' walk from Tetbury's shops and a 5-minute drive from the National Arboretum at Westonbirt.

Exceptionally friendly and well trained staff. Good location. Dinner menu better than usual ‘pub’ fare. We plan a repeat visit in September.

A very pleasant place to stay and visit We eat in the hotel staff where very friendly - we walked into Tetbury and had a lovely coffee on the Snooty Fox and the staff were very nice considering we were covered in mud and they were just setting up for lunch - very nice town with nice shops and superb bakery.

Tetbury could well be called the antiques capital of the Cotswolds. I managed to visit over 12 antiques shops, most of them on Long Street. If you're not a huge fan of antiques though, I'm not sure Tetbury would be for you. It's a quaint and pretty enough town, but no more so than other towns in the Cotswolds.
I only ate there once (at Lola & Co) but the food was excellent.
Parking is easy as there are plenty of places to park for free (I parked on Gumstool Hill).
The weather was dreadful when I arrived (in the middle of Storm Ciaran), so I didn't get a chance to look around as much as I would have liked.
I used Tetbury as a base to visit the rest of the Cotswolds. It's at the Southern end of the Cotswolds so if you're planning to visit places like Bibury and Chipping Campden which are further north, then it can be a bit of a drive (over an hour) and you may want to be more centrally located.

Tetbury is small but characterful place; we loved the independent feeling and atmosphere. It’s also a great spot for getting round the Cotswolds. The range of evening dinner options actually in town (as opposed to a short drive away) is fairly limited though from a family perspective- booking a table in advance is recommended.

Tetbury is a beautiful town - no Costa or McDonalds!
Tetbury is a beautiful town - no Costa or McDonalds! It has wonderful architechture and there are lots of interesting shops to visit, including antique shops and Prince Charles' Highgrove shop. The Ormond is fantastic. I stayed in a gorgeous room and also the food is great and is not a rip off. It has a lively atmosphere and a fabulous garden area to sit out in with stunning climbing roses and outdoor plants, including olive trees. It is spacious too. There are lots of other nice cafes and restaurants to visit, such as cafe 53, Quailes, Blue Zuccini and the Snooty Fox pub. Getting around Tetbury is easy because the town is quite compact.

Tetbury was a nice place to walkaroun with plenty of foof options including vegetarian/vegam. Also can park for free at Tetbury Goods Shed Arts Centre with a pleasant walk into town. The bread and butter pudding at the cafe next to the Arts Centre was incredible.
Lots of independent shops and cracking charity shops if you like a bargain
This is one of the most friendly and warm hotels that I have stayed in. The staff are just so happy and accommodating, they constantly want to ensure your stay is a good one. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained for a hotel that appears to be busy all the time. If you stay, you must make sure you book a table at the restaurant and ensure that you add the breakfast to your bill, just amazing quality and value for money.
Big shout out to Rob that sorted out my room key.
Thank you all at the Priory Inn :-)
This was a fantastic base to stay while driving around and touring the Cotswolds. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door and warmly welcomed by Tracy and her family who gave us some great suggestions for things to see.
The place was spotless, has everything you need (including washing machine) and you could tell everything was very well thought out with furnishings.
Will happily recommend this to friends for a great spot in the Cotswolds.
The hotel was perfect, set in glorious Cotswolds countryside. Everything about the hotel was professional and the staff were attentive and couldn't do enough for us. We loved our top-quality twin room with large comfortable beds and a luxurious bathroom. Breakfast was second to none and you got the experience of what it is like to be 'to the manor born'.
I look forward to staying again for sure.
The managment and staff were excellent. Very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We ate our evening meal there on Friday night which was fantastic one of the best meals we have had. Only down fall is the hotel rooms need a bit of tlc.Room was clean and bed comfortable. Would definitely recommend and if we are up that way again I would definitely eat there again.
Trouble house is an excellent place to stay. The bedroom was beautiful and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had a very good shower. The hostess Jacque was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superb. It is close to Tetbury and in a good location for visiting many places in the Cotswolds.
It was very comfy and warm given the wet blustery weather outside. The hostess was delightful and very helpful. The breakfasts were adjusted to meet our likes which was much appreciated. It’s a good location for travelling around the Cotswolds and Tetbury is a very nice small village where we had a lovely meal on our first night.
Amazing place with stunning and eclectic interiors! Great owners who are very friendly and helpful with advice on local attractions, places to eat etc - provided a very helpful guide on local towns to visit in the Cotswolds. Breakfast was also excellent. If you like boutique hotels this is for you!!
Very convenient location just behind centre of Tetbury, house was clean and well-equipped. Plenty of space for 4 people to relax and eat, with comfortable beds and pillows. Any queries before arrival were dealt with quickly and helpfully. Parking space could comfortably accommodate a large car.
Lovely old dog friendly cottage within easy walking distance of Tetbury . It was very warm and cosy despite the dreadful weather we had at the time . Little touches like fresh flowers and a cake on arrival were appreciated.
Our room was at the back of the property so was very quiet. The bathroom was spacious and although not en-suite was for our private use next to the room. Tea and coffee making facilities available.
Trouble House is in a good and convenient location, just outside of Tetbury. The room was spacious and very comfortable. the host was very welcoming and flexible with arrangements.
Very unique place to start with tons of character and great location to explore surrounding Cotswolds. Very comfortable beds and fantastic kitchen and sitting room.
Beautiful hotel and rooms. Breakfast was great with a good variety catering for all diets. Very dog friendly. Will definitely rebook for future visits to the area.
It's a lovely hotel right in the centre of Tetbury. Full of character and log fires. The staff were professional and excellent. Dinner and breakfast were good.
The hotel is well located to explore Tetbury and Westburtin Arboretum.
The food and service in the restaurant is great.
