Bowness-on-Windermere is a town on the shoreline of England's largest lake, Lake Windermere in Cumbria. Hosting a multitude of pubs, shops and a variety of cuisine, you will be able to get all the essentials for a self-catered stay or choose to have a night off and dine out. The activities in the area are mainly based around the lake, with the option hire a row or motor boat, take a lakes cruise, or use the ferry to get to Lakeside or Ambleside, you will be sure to enjoy the picturesque waters.
