Llanwenarth Cottage is set in 4 acres of lawned garden with a summer house, bar, barbeque and various nooks to sit and enjoy a picnic. Our guests have complete access to all areas of the garden. The Cottage is attached to Sue and Tony’s main residence LLanwenarth Lodge but has its own independent front and rear entrances. The Cottage is completely self contained with lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom (shower only), one upstairs bedroom (super king size bed) and upstairs toilet. Surrounded by the hills of the Brecon Beacons National Park, The Cottage enjoys views to the front across the Usk Valley towards the Sugarloaf Mountain and to the rear the Blorenge and Tilla Mountains. Sue is retired, loves plants and spends all her spare time in the garden. Always ready to help with information on places to visit either on foot or by car or to provide any other information that guests might request.

We are blessed with many fine local restaurants such as The Walnut Tree, The Hardwick and Angel Hotel and for everyday needs in Abergavenny a Waitrose, Morrisons, Aldi and Tesco Supermarkets. We are close to castles, such as Raglan, Caldicot, Chepstow, Grosmont, Skenfrith and the beautiful White Castle For walkers we have a myriad of local footpaths and for a stroll the nearby Mon&Brecon canal towpath together with more strenuous climbs in the Beacons which will reward with stunning views over the Welsh landscape.
