Lockyer House is a Victorian townhouse in the heart of Plymouth's historic Hoe area. Within walking distance of both the City Center and the Barbican, you will find this relaxed and homely accommodation perfect, whether your plans are for a stay in Plymouth or to visit the many attractions in Devon and Cornwall. Guests from the Brittany ferry terminal will appreciate our close proximity, removing any unnecessary traveling time once you've disembarked.
As part of the Kynance House group of hotels and accommodation, we have a history that goes back to our founding in 1954. Our knowledgable staff are on hand to help you have the stay that you want and, if you have a question that one of them is unsure of the answer to, they will know somebody who has all of the information that you'll need.
We love the architecture of the area - if you hunt around you can find beautiful examples of buildings and gardens from the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. There are excellent local pubs for a quiet drink and a superb meal or, if you come a the right time of year, you can catch the sunshine on the Hoe, and maybe treat yourself to an ice cream!
