Overlooking the English Channel, the Hannafore Point Hotel boasts luxurious rooms, a terrace restaurant and 2 bars. Recreational facilities include a spa and an indoor pool. From the moment we arrived to when we left, we had a wonderful time. Such a beautiful place and what views! A modern place and yet with an eye to detail for the traditional. We were told in advance that a cooked breakfast wouldn't be available due to staff shortages, but the hotel certainly maid up for it. Croissants, porridge, Canadian pancakes with fruit and honey, yoghurt and homemade Bircher müsli (non-dairy option too) with various fresh fruits. I'll definitely be back
A 3-minute drive from Looe, the 18th-century Polraen Country House Hotel offers well-appointed rooms and an award-winning range of breakfasts. Very delicious english breakfast; cofee and tea as much as you want. The room was big and very clean. The staff and the owners very pleasant and helpfull. I wholheartedly recommend!
Located in Looe, 21 miles from Eden Project, The Gate Cornwall has accommodations with a bar, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. What a lovely hotel! Comfy bed, stunning bathroom with both bath and shower, beautiful views, delicious healthy breakfast. We stayed two nights, for a wedding nearby. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, who went out of their way to help us.
Located in Looe, within 1.1 miles of Millendreath Beach and 1.1 miles of Hannafore, Silver Birch provides accommodations with a terrace and free WiFi throughout the property. excellent hotel manager who saw that we all have a very good time and offered more help than we had imagined.
Shellseekers Guest House is located on the Quay in West Looe. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all areas. We had a lovely stay at Shellseekers. The hosts were friendly, and our room was very clean. We both found the bed very comfortable and slept really well - even though our room overlooked the road, it was very quiet at night. The B&B was in a good location, and it was easy to walk to restaurants in Looe.
Located in Looe, The Harbor Moon has a garden, terrace and bar. Guests can sample Grill/bbq at the on-site restaurant. Plymouth is 14 mi from the inn. Newquay Cornwall Airport is 25 mi away. great room very comfortable, very good staff Hannah is a real asset to your business
Dolphin Guest House is set in Looe, 14 mi from Plymouth. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar, which overlooks the river. It was quaint and quiet, which we loved. The bed was so comfortable that I slept wonderfully. I liked that they gave us a key to get in the front door. Andrew and Stephanie are lovely people. Andrews’s breakfast was absolutely delicious. I honestly wished we could have stayed longer.

We stayed in Looe in october , the weather was mixed fine rain and extra warm sunshine, we dipped our toes in the sea and it was amazingly warm so much so i went in for a swim, once i got past the seaweed, I didn't use a wetsuit the waves were bigger than i was comphy with but I could still stand up do a few strokes without going out of my depth. Their was a train stike on when we were there but the buses were frequent even on the sunday.
I love Looe.So many lovely shops and plenty of places to eat and drink. It has a lovely atmosphere. The scenery and view from the beach are beautiful. It is a good place to swim (apart from when sewerage is released into the sea !) and the beach is ideal for beachcombing (lots of shells). There are showers at the toilets near the beach which are very useful. The beach cafe is very handy too. The harbour is a fascinating place and there are regular boat trips from there. The only problem is the steepness so it is not easy for the less mobile .
Smugglers cot ,great place to eat, but a bit pricey but worth it for a one off. Train service great Bus services great too Great location because of transport links to soo many places in Cornwall easily accessible by train.
The location makes this apartment stand out, right in the middle of this busy port, plenty of eateries and shops, and easy access to other areas nearby. The carpark, providing it is a small car, is a bonus. The apartment is very well finished and very well equipped ...
What a lovely place to stay. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was awesome. The room was comfortable and spotless. Looe itself was charming. Full of independent shops and plenty of places to eat. We had a Mexican and an Italian whilst we were there. Definitely the place to go for a short break.
Looe is really picturesque and has a delightful variety of restaurants and other places to eat. We didn't struggle to find somewhere during the week, weekends were a little more difficult and popular restaurants like the Sardine Factory should always be booked in advance. There are plenty of walking routes right out of the gate - highly recommended are the walks to Polperro and down the West Looe river where you might see kingfishers if you are lucky. There's also plenty to do within a 40 minute drive, such as the Eden Project and Cotehele House. The town itself is very hilly and the streets are narrow, so it's a good bet you will be parking in the Millpool long stay and walking your bags to your hotel. You should pack light as you won't want to make that journey more than once if you can help it!
This was a charming little hotel set right in the main port of Looe. It was pretty modern and there was a conveniently located bar in the foyer as well as a social club next door which had pool tables for a bit of extra entertainment. There is also a restaurant attached with a lovely view, which served breakfasts which were included for us in our price. The rooms were comfy and warm, with a tea/coffee station in each room. Staff were very friendly and the place was very clean.
Property is in an excellent location for discovering Cornwall’s finest and the local area too. Well furnished and clean with all services to a very good standard, clearly the hosts have given attention to detail in choice of furnishings. Met our expectations as a couple. Car parking good value for 24 hours rate if needed at Millpool car park nearby. Although November and lots of restaurants and cafes closed we had some lovely evening meals in Looe.
Hotel staff really friendly and went out there way to assist. It’s great they allow dogs as took my pooch. The views are amazing as hotel is based on the cliff side and it’s a nice small walk down with some steps to walk along the harbour into looe. Lovely location and would definitely use again as they did cheaper single rooms for people who don’t want to spend too much. They also kindly gave me a double instead of a single as plenty spare
Location great for visiting a swathe of that south coast are of Cornwall and, in less wet conditions, good access to the footpaths network. Cottage was compact but had everything we needed; the hosts had gone to a lot of trouble with Christmas decorations and welcome pack of local foods - even if you don't go at Christmas it's an indication of their attention to detail and your comfort. There's a wide range of DVDs to borrow.
Apartment was self catering and location was exceptional as all facility's required where all within a very small walking distance, including beach, river, shops and restaurants. A well worth visit in our opinion was a boat trip over to Looe island with the wild life and history.
Beautifully maintained, spacious and historical farm house, formerly of the Dutchy of Cornwall and thoughtful transformed into a 5 roomed well appointed Hotel/B&B overlooking Looe Island and the spectacular bay that has delighted so many holiday makers for many decades.
This is a nice B&B not a hotel although you are permitted to take back takeaways. Our room was a bit small but OK. Everything was clean and the breakfast was nice. Parking was fine and Looe was quite close. Everyone was freindly.
Superb view from balcony. Bed comfortable, room very clean. Breakfast delicious and lovely eating it on the balcony ( when it wasnt raining!- annoyingly every time we visit Cornwall it rains!!!)
The room was pleasant, with good sea views, and had that most valuable thing in Cornwall; a parking space. The breakfast was very good. Owner Tracy is genial and helpful.
Everything about Harbour House is perfect. It’s a absolute must in terms of location, views and the best Cornwall has to offer. Hope to return very soon.
Superb location, overlooking the stunning town of Looe - ideal for pubs, restaurants, the beach and coastal walks. Great breakfast
excellent hotel manager who saw that we all have a very good time and offered more help than we had imagined.
Cheap, close to Looe and Polppero, lovely see view!
Location in center of Looe.
