Great Milton is a peaceful, attractive and friendly village which lies within beautiful Oxfordshire countryside only 7miles away form Oxford. There are post office, shop and pub in the village. This is great location if you are visiting Art & Literary Fairs In Oxford, Oxford’s Colleges, exploring Chilterns, or attending appointments at Oxford’s many leading hospitals. Great Milton is made up of an attractive mix of large and small period houses and cottages, some of them thatched, and modern-day dwellings. Along the High Street there are wide grass verges and large houses, whereas at the opposite end of the village near the church there are several extremely large historic houses including the manor house, now the world-renowned restaurant and hotel Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons created by the celebrated chef Raymond Blanc
