Host Info

Mainsfield House is a large detached country house located in Settle with views over the surrounding hills. Historically frequented many times by the famous British composer Sir Edward Elgar who played piano in the house. It is a charming and delightful residence. The house has been under extensive refurbishment since February 2022 and will be opening late February 2023. New pictures will be released in early February 2023 to show the new interiors and features of the house. The current pictures are pre-refurbishment and are not reflective of how the property will look for your stay. Further pictures can be provided on request nearer February 2023.
The property is located on a quiet country lane 10 minutes walk from Settle centre and overlooking the hills of Settle and Pen-y-ghent. There are a number of attractions in close proximity to the property.
