We have been to this hotel several times since September 2023 and every time we have experienced an excellent stay. The staff are extremely friendly, polite and professional - this is in all aspects e.g. reception, cleaners, bar, maintenance staff. This is our 'go to' hotel because we are confident that we will have an excellent stay. There is consistency in the service delivered by staff, facilities and food. Excellent location to university student accommodation and to the town centre. This adds to the comfort and convenience of the stay.

October 2022 Booked a place to stay as we were attending a wedding close by. What a hidden gem we found!! Beautiful linking streets with well kept houses/gardens, amazing architecture. We enjoyed daily strolls in/around Kingsand and Cawsand and spotted something new everytime!! Friendly locals met on our walks, visiting the Rising Sun pub and Shipshape gift shop (we found some quirky hand crafted gifts here and the owner was so lovely!!) Highly recommend The Bay for delicious food and great service (twice!) A night stroll lead us to crashing waves at the clock tower.... it was something magical! Our time run out, and there's still so much to do and see.... we WILL return!!Grace - 10Scored 10

Cawsand is a beautiful place to escape to, full of character. Nice beach and situated on the coast path. If you're feeling active, you can swim, walk, kayak etc. If you want to chill, you can can enjoy the pubs and cafes or just sit on the beach with an ice cream looking at the beautiful views. It is a beautiful quiet place so wonderfully unspoilt with very few shops or entertainment. Great walks nearby, very small quiet beach. Not a good place for cars, but good car parks but they get full in the summer very quickly

The apartment was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed. The weather wasn't great but you could just sit and stare at the stunning view if necessary. A wonderful location and we'll be back!

We loved the fact there were three bays to choose from.
We loved the fact there were three bays to choose from. It was busier than I expected, however the weather was very good. The pasties from the local 'everything' shop (fish and chips, pasties, ice cream) were better than the highly rated pasty shop in Penzance! The ice cream van was lovely - loads of flavours and takes credit card. The Bay (restaurant/bar/coffee shop) was fab, spent the first 2 days having coffees there, and the last 2 nights eating there, outside so we felt very covid safe. The food was delicious and very reasonable. Neither pub was helpful at all. so we didn't bother with them. It's a beautiful place to stay and we used it as a base to visit more of Cornwall. It's easy to get around Cawsand if you don't have dodgy knees, or legs as it's very up and down. The road we stayed on had a 1:4 gradient! We did walk up it a few times, I'm sure it made us healthier! Also we struggled getting our old Landrover Discovery around the very slim roads in the village! (But we needed it as there were 6 of us!)

Pool was great, and booking meant it was fair and every cottage could have pool to themselves for an hour a day There was a beautiful terrace, stunning view, with built in barbecue. Had everything we needed - cafetiere, measuring jugs - that type of thing. Teresa and Phil are the new owners, and despite being thrown in at the deep end - taking over just before the peak season- they were welcoming, friendly and helpful. One Downstairs bedroom.

We were there for a wedding at Polhawn Fort and this was a great distance for that! The owners were lovely and they had a cute little dog wandering around! Very spacious grounds at the front of the property if you want to relax. Very good wifi!
