We really enjoy working with owners to ensure that their properties are beautifully kept and maintained, and sharing the secrets of what the capital city, and Scotland have to offer our guests. Celia, who runs Beautiful Holiday Homes, has worked in both marketing and property for over 10 years. On the side she has also done a fair amount of restaurant reviewing, and having previously run a lifestyle management company she is always happy to share recommendations or go that bit further to ensure guests have the prefect stay. Sonia, joined the Beautiful Holiday Homes team from a luxury hotel management background and knows first hand the importance of customer service. Sonia is also a foodie who loves to travel herself so knows first hand what guests expect. We only take on properties that the we ourselves would like to stay in and currently have a beautiful selection of properties that is constantly growing, so if the first property you enquire about isn't available then we will always try and help by suggesting another lovely property that is. Looking for a secluded escape in a beautiful traditional cottage? Look no further. Mill cottage is located on the gorgeous private estate of Dalvey in Moray. This property has a private drive that leads to an idyllic cottage that faces South West over rolling hills and fields- perfect for catching the evening sun on the garden bench! Guests can look forward to the use of two king sized bedrooms, one family bathroom and an incredibly cosy living room, with a delightful wood burning stove. The owners will ensure you have everything you need for your stay and will also stock the wood for your arrival. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need for cooking a family dinner and you will also find a dining room off the kitchen. The owners of Dalvey estate are kind enough to allow guests to explore the estate, grounds and beautiful historic house. This property is perfect for small groups, families or couples looking for a real retreat. There is parking right next to the cottage on the private drive and a BBQ is available for your use. Wifi and a smart TV are both available at the property.

Within the immediate area you will find a Tesco (located just over a mile away), while still having the escape of being located next to stunning fields and countryside. The Forres town centre has an array of local butchers, bakeries, cafes and restaurants. Culbin Forest is just 10 minutes drive, offering beautiful beach walks and biking trails. Landmark adventure park is less than 45 mins away, a great day out for families and children and we are lucky enough to be next door to the stunning Brodie Castle and Hardmuir farm shop, a great stop for picking local raspberries and strawberries and stocking up on other fresh produce. The River Spey and Findhorn are so close by, that this property would provide a fantastic base after daily sessions on the riverbanks. Inverness is just a short 30 minute drive from this property and even less time to the Dalcross Airport!
