There's also a double bedroom and a main bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear patio with furniture, and a public car park with additional roadside parking. One well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop and a pub in 0.1 miles. Mill Cottage is idyllically positioned to explore Staffordshire and the Peak District.

On the western side of The Peaks, in the heart of the beautiful Moorland scenery, is the hillside market town of Leek, also referred to as "The Queen of the Moorlands." The town's lovely cobblestone market square and numerous instances of magnificent Victorian architecture, many of which bear William Morris' influence, serve as a reminder of the prosperity the area experienced when it was known as a centre for the production of silk. Today, Leek has a large variety of stores, including enormous antique stores, as well as a considerable number of restaurants, a neighbourhood park, recreational opportunities, and real ale pubs. Leek is adjacent to Gawsworth Hall, Buxton Opera House, and Three Shires Head, where the counties of Cheshire, Derbyshire, and Staffordshire converge. It is also a short drive from Alton Towers.
