The picturesque village of Withypool is set in the heart of Exmoor National Park, straddling the river Barle and is surrounded by the beautiful, unique scenery. The village has a pub, tea room and village shop and there are fabulous walks direct from the door, either along the river or across the moor, whether you're looking for a short stroll or a day-long expedition. The Two Moors Way also passed through the village. To the southwest of the Village lies Withypool Common and Withypool Hill. Just two miles upstream from Withypool is the delightful Landacre Bridge, a late medieval five-arch stone bridge, a great place for paddling and picnicking in good weather.
