This accommodation was in a wonderful spot within walking distance of everything downtown and our host/staff was incredibly kind to us. The room was great, breakfast was great. Overall, I couldn't recommend more.

The house, which was built circa 1845, has been tastefully refurbished and restored, and also maintains many of its original period features. You can see the luxurious Gothic bathroom under Room Three in 'Our Rooms & Prices'. Zofia has been running Moraybank B&B since June 2003 and achieved a 4 star Visit Scotland rating from the beginning. Zofia has been working in the hospitality and customer service industry for 40 years. She will do everything within her ability to make your stay the best it possibly can be. Welcome to Moraybank Bed & Breakfast! We have a convenient location, just a minute's walk from Elgin's town centre. Elgin itself is an ancient City and Royal Burgh, and is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful County of Moray, known as 'Malt Whisky County'. We have stunning beaches, links golf courses on the Moray Firth coast to the North, the Spey Valley and its Whisky Trail on our doorstep, as well as stunning Castles, a Cathedral, hill-walking, and salmon fishing. More recently Moray has become an attraction for Gin lovers too. Or why not sample the centuries of history in Elgin itself? The list is endless. The house, which was built circa 1845, has been tastefully refurbished and restored, and maintains many of its original period features. We offer double and twin rooms, with en suite or private bathroom facilities. Each room has your everyday needs; TV, hairdryer and a hostess tray. We also offer a seating area in the dining lounge for you to sit & plan the next part of your trip, have a quiet catch up with your fellow traveller, or simply just sit and enjoy. When the weather is at its finest, there's also a beautiful front garden for you to use.

Elgin is a town within the Royal Burgh of Moray. This means Elgin is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful 'Malt Whisky County' also known as Moray. It is also starting to grow as an area for gin as well as whisky, as we have nearby production for El:gin, Avva Scottish Gin, and Red Door Gin.We are close to stunning beaches and links golf courses on the Moray Firth coast to the North, and the Spey Valley. Fancy learning a bit of local and Scottish history we have Elgin Cathedral which is a sort walk from Moraybank B&B, as well as Elgin Museum which is one of the oldest independent museums in the country. You can also find plenty of other castles and palaces nearby to explore. More interested in the outdoors, then we are a great base for that too. We are under an hour drive from the breathtaking Cairngorms where you can hike munros as well as try out skiing or snowboarding.
