Lossiemouth is worth visting anyway, especially if you like beaches and military aircraft, Lots of interesting places within reach like Findhorn, Cullen and Portsoy. If you like wildlife anywhere along the Moray Firth is ideal for dolphin spotting or shoot off to Troup Head for seabirds. Also worth visiting is Nelsons Tower at Forres. Plus your not far from Aviemore for access to the Cairngorms for Rheindeers and Ospreys at Loch Garten.

The area is beautiful fabulous beaches, the caravan site was so clean and spacious really well set out and our caravan was excellent clean, well equipped, I would say the owner goes beyond what a rental van normally is. Store cup-board items were so well thought of, usually you don’t get provided with these items on rental and have to go purchase. There are so many areas on the coastline to visit, really well worth the visit.

We are golfers and I would recommend Lossiemouth as a good base to explore all the courses along the Moray coast. There are plenty hidden gems of courses. Ensure to use the Moray Golf ticket and special offers to save some money on the courses. The local eateries especially the Firth Hotel provide good food at reasonable prices although busy at weekends so require to book.

Lossiemouth is a delightful seaside town with two beautiful white sandy beaches. Lots of room and never over run. A delight to have a peaceful walk or a dip in the ocean. The water in September we found positively balmy. There is a sports centre and swimming pool and some really nice restaurants and hotels.

I have stayed at this hotel on about 5 occasions. The location of the hotel is very good with fabulous views across the Moray Firth. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and have tea and coffee making facilities. On this occasion, I didn't have the evening meal, but the breakfast is very good and suits me very much with what i like to eat on a morning. This hotel is extremely good and is well placed near the golf course in Lossiemouth.

The location was great for walks, and for days out in the car. Watching dolphins playing outside the window was brilliant also seen sea otters and a couple of seals. Good pubs for food and drinks nearby, house was really clean and comfortable if you wanted to stay in at night also. The whole coast has some great beaches and really nice small fishing villages along the Moray coastal way, would really recommend and Rowena was really helpful cheers for a great week

Great location in the town of Lossiemouth which provides a great base for exploring wider Moray coast area. Although the room was bit small it was clean, tidy and well appointed. Quiet at night and a nice relaxing place to stay. Staff were very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend the Firth Hotel and would have no hesitation returning for future stays.

Skerryview had everything you needed to stay for a long weekend in Lossiemouth to explore in and out of the area, whether visiting beaches, distilleries or playing golf. A quiet location with coastline views. Lossiemouth doesn't have many options for dinner so the full equipped kitchen was ideal!
