Terrific location, outstanding staff, comfortable, modern, facility. Mike and his colleagues at the Porters' Office bend over backwards to welcome and to take care of guests. Beautiful gardens, handy snack bar, quiet surroundings. Easy walk into Cambridge city center. Outstanding place to stay.

The facilities were very modern and clean; the gardens were lovely and private. There was a noisy party on the first night of our stay, which was very audible with the bedroom windows open, but when we closed them, the sound insulation was amazing. There was very little not to like. Advice on where to find free, parking was very sound. And it was just 15 minutes walk from the historic heart of Cambridge.

Nice property with beautiful gardens where you can have breakfast from the café. The room was clean and modern, a nice touch with a mini fridge in the room. Staff was super friendly and available 24/7.

if you don’t mind housing in what is very nice university dorm space, this is a great find. The double room is larger than at most B&B’s and everything works. the porter staff are helpful and there is a cafe on the premises. it’s a fifteen minute walk to the center of town (defined as King’s College) so it doesn’t take very long to get to the heart of the tourist areas.It’s a 5 minute walk to one of the bridges where they hawk the punting trips, if that’s of interest. basically, all of Cambridge is accessible.

Newnham College was a great stay. Location is fab, central in Cambridge and in its own lovely grounds. Rooms were very comfortable - not what we've previously experienced in student halls! Staff were fabulous - so cheerful and helpful !!! Breakfast was very good.

The only thing, what surprised me is that there were no dining facilities at the college. But the staff was very helpful to point me towards some restaurants, so in the end it was all good. Now I have a good understanding of the place, so I will align my expectations when I visit next time. I loved the atmosphere of the place. Staying in the modern wing of the college, with a view at the courtyard, I have enjoyed the tranquility of the place very much. The staff halped me out with my queries, they have also lent me a power outlet converter, so I was able to use my European and Australian electrical gears.
