No. 10 and No. 12 are two adjoining, family-friendly character cottages, that are available for booking together, sleeping up to eight people. The cottages are centrally located in the picturesque market town of Framlingham. Within walking distance of local pubs, independent shops and restaurants, and Framlingham Castle, immortalised as the 'Castle on the Hill'. Split over two self-contained cottages and sharing an outdoor courtyard space, this is a family-friendly spacious Airbnb, which is centrally located in Framlingham. The first cottage, No. 10, sleeps two and has a kitchen, living-dining room, double bedroom and bathroom. The second cottage, No. 12, sleeps six and has a kitchen, living room (with double sofa bed), dining room, two bedrooms (one double, one bunk beds), family bathroom and separate WC. There is also an office space on the landing. The rear doors from both cottages lead from the kitchen into the shared courtyard, which has outdoor tables and chairs. There is access via a gate to the street for bicycles etc. The small sheds have BBQs with charcoal and fire lighters, as well as the waste bins. Both cottages have a wall mounted TV, electric fire, dining table and chairs, and a bath (with shower over). The kitchens each have a ceramic hob cooker, oven, washing machine and fridge, plus an under stair cupboard for general storage. No. 12 has a large fridge freezer. Bedding is provided for all beds including the sofa bed. Hand and bath towels provided. Shower gel is provided and hand soaps throughout. Tea towels and washing up supplies provided.
It is great meeting the visitors who come to stay in our home. We enjoy holidays and have tried to think of everything to make your stay with us thoroughly enjoyable. We love family time, holidays and exploring, history and old buildings, the coast, wild swimming and countryside dog walks! Entry to the houses is via a key box. I am available by text, phone or email for any assistance required.
Small quiet market town in rural Suffolk. There are regular buses between Ipswich and Framlingham, including via Woodbridge. The nearest railway station is Wickham Market about 7 miles away, with a 'Katch' shuttle bus available to Framlingham (booking required). Local taxi firms are also available. There is free short term parking in the street outside during the day, and this allows free overnight parking too. There is also a carpark about 200 yards away, and this currently has no parking charges.
