I truly recommend this wonderful place to stay. The pictures here don't give away of how beautiful it is. The pod was amazing, very cosy and just the right size. The hot tub very good with bubbles, different lights, all ready for us when we got there. The scenery of mountains, waterfall, the river and the walk down to it are absolutely stunning too! Waking up to birds singing and the sound of river was very relaxing. All in all 10/10. We'll be coming back :)

This is our very special Tree top cabin "Nyth y Goedwig" meaning "Forest Nest" situated on the edge of a woodland and RSPB reserve overlooking the Afon Cym Mynach river high above the Mawddach Estuary opposite the Cader Idris mountain range in the heart of Snowdonia. Fully insulated and heated. It has a stylish shower room, great kitchen facilities and a comfy double bed. Hot tub with jets, temperature control and lights just below the hut in an elevated position overlooking the river below. BBQ and firepit (logs available for additional charge). Pet friendly. The ultimate Glamping experience.
Southern Snowdonia is the best kept secret in Wales, where the mountains meet the sea, but not overrun by tourists. Cader Idris is the 3rd highest peak in Wales with the summit offering breathtaking views of the sea and seemingly endless surrounding mountain ranges. Miles of deserted, sandy beaches still exist where you can walk for hours and see just a few others, usually with a friendly nod and a wave. The picturesque and bustling harbour town of Barmouth and market town of Dolgellau offer civilisation if any is needed! Both have cafes, music, seafood restaurants, galleries and antiques. Enjoy the best Italian Pizza at the Mawddach Pizza Restaurant (advance booking recommended) or simply walk across the estuary via the toll bridge to the George III pub for a gastro feed. And keep those toes tapping as The Last Inn in Barmouth has live music every Tues evening. Nearby Harlech Castle is a World Heritage site and sits high on a cliff top completely dominating the small town.
