The staff were great. They left out a breakfast (continental) with a lot of options (which was amazing for a late night snack that I seen a few other Guest doing the same.) room was clean. The back way to the rooms is nice and explained well so we could come and go at any point without going through the pub. They also have beautiful birds out back.

From the moment we stepped into reception it felt lovely and welcoming. The staff were friendly, we upgraded to a sea view suite and the view was spectacular. A balcony with a gorgeous view, spacious suite and clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was so very comfy.
The good in the restaurant was absolutely top notch. The breakfast was huge, you definitely will not go hungry and there is plenty of choice. All the staff in the whole place were so happy and friendly.
The pool is great for relaxing, we didn’t try the sauna or steam room but loved the pool.
We will definitely be back

Kirkcaldy is a good place for access to Edinburgh, Fife and The East Neuk. It has its own charm, but the town centre is quite run down. Take the bus to the nearby beaches, or right up to the beautiful villages of East Neuk. There are a couple of good curry houses on the High Street, I liked The Prince especially. Visited the gallery/museum which was located near our hotel. This was a hidden gem as the pictures on display were very good as was the museum which had sections dedicated to the past linoleum industry and mining communities. Fascinating. Kirkcaldy has a full range of shops available as well as a modernised sea promenade. The best thing about Kirkcaldy is going to see the seals. Ask at your hotel how to see them. Need to be able to walk about 20 mins. They are nearly always there . Easy to get train in and out of Edinburgh. If you like walking or biking. Fife coastal path is lovely. Can walk between stations and get train back

We came to visit Kirkcaldy gallery for the Vettriano exhibition. The gallery was lovely with a cafe with decent coffee, museum and gallery shop. We had travelled from Glastonbury for this exhibition and stopped in York on the way up. Kirkcaldy is not very pretty overall, the seafront felt quite industrial but we found a good fish and chips shop called Rinaldis and all the local people were friendly.Marianne

Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The 24hr continental breakfast is fantastic. It's the first time I've eaten breakfast in my hotel room. All the staff who dealt with us were really friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We'd highly recommend the restaurant for an afternoon/evening meal and the bar for a few drinks with the friendly locals.
