This newly renovated apartment is in Surbiton, a lovely picturesque part of Greater London on the outskirts of Kingston and with fantastic transport links to London, with frequent trains and a journey time of less than 20 minutes. A couple of minutes walk away there are cute coffee shops, independent shops, a bookshop, top restaurants and gastro pubs. Slightly further afield (but still within walking distance) is Kingston, with its fabulous range of shops, dining and entertainment options. The space This is a lovely 2 bedroom property whose furnishings have been chosen to be light and airy. The design scheme is fresh and modern. The flat has a bright open plan living and dining area, and a kitchen with everything you will need during your stay. The living and dining area is a great space to relax, where you can curl up on the sofa to watch TV. The dining area, which seats 4, is the perfect spot to enjoy some local delicacies that you can pick up from Surbiton's many delis and food shops. There is a desk and chair, should you need to work during your stay. The kitchen is situated off the living room, with open access to the living area. It is compact but has everything you need for your stay, including tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits so that you can make yourself a traditional British cuppa in the morning! There is a double bedroom with plenty of storage space. Surbiton has a charming community feel, with an array of cute independent shops, restaurants and coffee shops. It is on the outskirts of Kingston, with its buzzing waterfront scene, tremendous shopping and entertainment facilities, numerous theatres and cinemas. There are lovely riverside walks along the Thames path, parks and gardens to visit, and many tourist attractions close by - such as Hampton Court Palace and Bushy Park.
