LOCAL ESSENTIALS 2 minute walk to Risinghurst newsagent, post office and ATM - 46 Downside Rd, OX3 8HR. 10 minute walk to The Roundway where you will find a couple more newsagents/ small grocery stores and Roundway pharmacy. Lots of supermarkets on London Road which is roughly a few minutes drive/ 20 minute walk away, including Co-op, Waitrose, Tescos and Sainsburys. On London Road you will also find ATMs, a gym, barber shops and hair salons, a Boots pharmacy, a petrol station and everything else you need to cover your daily requirements. LOCAT ATTRACTIONS 4 minute walk to the beautiful CS Lewis Nature Reserve where you can also see the house that CS Lewis lived in. There is a large park just a two minute walk at the bottom of the road which also has a play area. In Headington and especially down London Road you will find a mixture of shops, parks (Buryknowle & Shotover), trendy cafes and local pubs. There you will also find a market on a Saturday.
