Beautifully restored and decorated apartment in a period townhouse in the heart of Chagford, a charming town within the Dartmoor National Park. The apartment has a delightful location in the town centre with wonderful shops, pubs and cafes all just steps away. The wonders of the Dartmoor National Park can be explored by car, bicycle or with great local walks from your doorstep. The apartment is incredibly spacious and features a stunning kitchen with sitting area as well as the main lounge. Gladesville House was built in the Arts and Crafts Style and is packed with original features. You enter the house through the communal front door and this apartment is situated in the first floor. On entering the space you are welcomed into a large lounge that has a very comfortable sofa bed. The master bedroom has been painted in a rich blue and overlooks the rear courtyard space, perfect for storing bikes. It also has a very large Super King bed. The kitchen is equipped with oven, electric hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine. Furnished with antiques, William Morris fabrics and a quality modern bed and quality mattress. The lounge can comfortably be used as a second bedroom. It features a luxury king-size sofa bed with a superbly supportive, 14cm fully pocket sprung mattress. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a GBP40 non-refundable damage waiver. Getting around There is parking down Manor Road for free all day, there is a pay and display car park up by Jubilee Hall, there is parking outside the flat which is limited to 2 hours - traffic wardens are a rare occurrence but they do sometimes come so best to be careful.
