All properties offer fantastic access to the towns treasure's including the many cafés and restaurants, the beaches and of course the beautiful sea. We love that Saltwater Escapes properties have become a home from home for many of our customers who have stayed with us year after year and are making traditions of their own and memories to treasure. Polly's Place is a traditional fisherman's cottage perched above the harbour on one of Brixham's most photogenic streets. Thanks to its elevated setting in Brixham's natural harbour bowl, the cottage offers fantastic views across the harbour, marina and out to the Breakwater. This newly decorated cottage is just a stone's throw from everything Brixham has to offer, with fantastic pubs, restaurants, cafés and a variety of independent retailers all within walking distance, making it a wonderful choice for a classic coastal break.  Located among a row of vibrant, colourful cottages, Polly's Place cheerful exterior sets the tone for within. As you step inside you are greeted by the bright and airy living room, with an additional snug to the rear of the property with stunning views of Brixham harbour and far out to sea. Downstairs you will find the open plan kitchen and dining area for enjoying a breakfast to set you up for the day and a pretty window seat for you to enjoy the wonderful views. The well-designed kitchen offers the perfect flexibility for self-catering. Brixham is a food lovers' paradise, and you will be spoilt for choice for places to eat out. For culinary enthusiasts, why not pick up some fresh fish straight off one of the local day boats to prepare back in the cottage and then enjoy an after dinner drink on the real gem of this property, it's terrace. Located at the back of the property, and with captivating views over the working harbour, you can while away the hours watching the view change as the tide ebbs in and out and the sun sets, lighting up the colourful cottages on the other side of the harbour. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are located on the second floor of the cottage while the master bedroom with en suite can be found on the third floor via a steep spiral staircase.

Polly's Place is situated on one of the most characterful streets in Brixham called Prospect Road. Just a matter of minutes walk and you can be in the town with its many cafés, restaurants and shops or enjoying a pleasant walk around the harbour to the marina and breakwater. Brixham has long been famed for its links to the sea, and now has an up and coming culinary scene to add to its armoury, with an increasing number of independent cafés and delightful restaurants offering ingredients landed just a stones’ throw from their doorstep. For walkers, The South West Coast Path will take you as far as your legs will carry you, and entertaining the little ones couldn’t be easier with Paignton Zoo, The Dartmouth Steam Railway and Splashdown @ Quay West all within a short drive.
