Portballintrae is an idyllic village just outside Bushmills and 4 miles east of Portrush. It is close to both the Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle and the world famous Bushmills distillery all within walking distance. This quaint fishing village, on the edge of a horseshoe bay, is lined with a modern hotel and private properties and drops down the cliffedge to its peaceful, working harbour and small beach. The harbour is a haven of activity at the weekends and throughout the summer with locals and visitors enjoying open water swimming, paddle boarding, boating and many other outdoor activities. Dunluce Castle, popular as a wedding venue is only a few minutes away , Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge is 15 minutes drive. For the keen golfers the 9 hole Bushfoot Golf Club is a few minutes walk from the house, offering stunning coastal views, it is a lovely course to play. Of course for the more serious golfing enthusiast Royal Portrush links golf course, host of the 148th British Open in 2019 and selected to host the 153rd British Open in 2025 is only 10 minutes drive away. 25 minutes drive will take you to Portstewart Golf Club with 3 fabulous links courses.
