New build self catering chalet. Located in the village of Borve, 18miles from Stornoway on the West Coast of the Isle of Lewis. This is a 2 bedroom property with en-suite facilities. Bedroom 1 luxury finish with king size bed and en-suite, Bedroom 2 twin room luxury finish with jack and Jill bathroom access. The chalet has an open plan living area suitable for dining and entertaining. There is a sofa bed in the main living area should you have up to 6 guests. The facilities include wine cooler, fridge, freezer, dish washer, induction hob with built in oven and microwave. Both bathroom have spacious shower facilities and moder bathe room suite. The property has air source heating all appropriate H&S equipment and free WiFi. The property is finished to a luxury standard.
Young professional family living adjacent to the chalet with a working Croft in which property is situated.
The property is set back off the main road of the village down by the river in Borve. Views are out to the Atlantic Ocean where you can enjoy the sunsets from the chalet or 2 mins to the bottom of the Croft which offer an panoramic sunset on a clear day. Views from the decked area are of the Borve river and old stone arched bridge which a peaceful setting. The property is located centrally in Borve with Borve Pottery, Borve Country House Hotel, Dr surgery and Mini Mart. You are 5 min walk from all of these amenities whether you are looking for a restaurant/bar, shop for essential items or gifts. There is a lovely walk down the shore to the pebbled beach with stunning views of Hebridean landscape. Borve is 10 minute drive from Ness, which offers Sandy beaches, shops cafes and restaurants, and landmarks such as lighthouse at the Butt of Isle of Lewis. Alternatively you can drive the west coast stopping at lovely beaches, Blackhouse Village, Callanish Stones passing the Whale Arch and the Carloway Broch before returning back to Borve for your evening meal and drink at the hotel with a 3 min walk back to chalet.
