What we liked most about the property was the interactions with Ali and Shona – – they were superb host and hostess! They were very personable, looked after us individually with breakfast cooked to order, and were very helpful and thoughtful in taking care of our needs – – Ali took time to explain the bus system for us so we could see parts of the island on two different bus routes on Saturday.

What a dream house! And all the amazing reviews about the food and Marina did not lie! My only concern was I came for way too short a stay!

I cannot say enough positive things about this flat. I am almost afraid to say too much because I don't want it to be booked when I decide to stay again! My friend and I stayed here for three nights, and it was the PERFECT set-up for us. It was immaculately clean, we each had our own spacious room with comfortable beds, the living room was set up perfectly to relax after a day of sightseeing, and the kitchen was wonderful. It is obvious that Kirsteen went out of her way to make sure everything was in order. I loved the little details that most hosts probably wouldn't consider...the light on the entrance stairs that can be turned on/off and both the top and bottom of the stairs, the milk in the refrigerator, the extra Wi-Fi hotspot, washer/dryer, all of the cooking utensils you could ever need... Also, the location is perfect. It's just far enough away that you miss the business of being in town but close enough to walk to the city centre, and Lews Castle is basically across the street! I highly, highly recommend this place to anyone and will definitely stay here again in the future.
