I was really well received (arrived early) and shown to the room by a friendly manager. Parking had to be registered and all was done. The restaurant was very popular and fully booked - so if you want to eat quality Vietnamese food, you might want to book. I slept well and the environs were quiet. I took a walk in the area and felt very comfortable. Lots of pubs local to the place and the Hole in the Wall opposite was recommended.

The location is very quite and relaxing, there’s is no light pollution so you get an breath taking view of the stars. Which is very special to witness when you are from the city e guy property is quiet and very clean. It has a romantic feeling especially if you’re going with your partner. The huts are cute and you can tell a lot of work and love has gone into making them the way they are

Although Erehwon is right in the centre of Bodmin, it's tucked away behind the cinema at the bottom of a short hill and, as such, is quiet and with no distractions. It is perfectly placed for a shopping as Fore Street is two minutes away with shops, cafés and restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I must add, the shower is fantastic 👌 😀 😊

Was visiting a sick relative in the hospital & hotel very convenient for that. Have always been in transit elsewhere so didn't know the town well. So attractive and clean. Very friendly people who readily helped direct or help in other ways. I have relatives who came from Probus and Devonshire so visited both counties from 1946 onwards and think changes by and large sensitive and well carried out. The beauty of the county and rural nature has been largely preserved and if controlled population increase measures are sympathetically controlled, the character of the county ought to be preserved along with its beauty.

A great experience, the renovation work is amazing throughout the hotel! We only stayed there for 1 night but we would have liked to have spend more time.
Comfortable beds, and a great spacious bathroom.
Great breakfast options.
Would be great to have gluten free options in the room service menu.

Bodmin was a really good distance from all the places I wanted to visit and I knew there was road works (till 2024) on the road further south and didn’t want to be stuck on the road whilst on a long drive anyway .

We went to the Eden Project for half a day and enjoyed the biodomes. We spent a day at Lanhydrock House, looking around the house and we walked miles around the estate. We also hired bikes through Saint Piran Cafe (and bike hire shop), the staff were excellent and we loved the 18 mile round trip on the bikes, followed by a drink in the cafe afterwards. We also enjoyed a pizza from Dominos in Bodmin and the best fish and chips from Welcome Stranger in Lanivet, near Bodmin, we would absolutely recommend this place for a fantastic meal!
Trevidgeowe Farm is an excellent location for visiting Bodmin and surrounding areas.
A beautiful house where we spent 2 nights in a very spacious Delux King Room. Very comfortable bed, large Ensuite with double walk in shower all beautifully decorated.
Excellant range of continental breakfast including homemade grenola and bread.
Our first choice will be to stay here when we next visit cornwall in the summer.
Emma your hostess will make you most welcome.
Amazing hotel in a restored jail. Fantastic bathroom with a huge tub and heated flooring. We had an exceptional a la carte meal in the restaurant with lovely personal service from Reece, thank you! The breakfast was delicious with the Eggs Royale being the best breakfast dish ever! Worth the price to stay there and would recommend as a 'must do' treat. On site parking a bonus. A chance to explore the interesting town of Bodmin with it's many ancient wells.
We booked this place because it was dog friendly and it was a bit different. There has obviously been alot of investment to transform the place into the hotel.
Very friendly and helpful member of staff that greeted us at check-in and ensured the room was suitable for us and our dog. Very spacious rooms and prompt room service late at night when everything else is shut in the town.
Our dog slept really well too!
In the hotel everything was just right. I was nice, it was clean and well located. The hotel staff has exceeded my expectation, everyone was super-friendly, we've received warm welcome and every query or ask was quickly resolved. It was a very nice and comfortable stay over. I'd recommend Holiday Inn Express - Bodmin to anyone looking for a stay in the area.
Angie is a great host, she went far and beyond to
accomodate our requests (we travelled by motorbike)
and made us feel very welcomed. Nice attention to
details and room and bathroom were sparkling clean.
Option to have your own tea/coffee in the room.
The area is very quite.
Bodmin is a central location to anyone who would like
to visit Cornwall
Located short walk from city bus stop, close to amenities and attractions in Bodmin. Appreciated the little extras provided by the host in addition to the usual tea and coffee that are provided by all B&Bs, Guest Houses and hotels. Our host was able to provide help with directions to local attractions which was appreciated.
Outstanding location, incredible views. Tentative & friendly owners / hosts.
We used this location as our base, with all local towns / villages such as Fowen, Padstow, Looe, Newquay being quite close by (15-30mins drive in most cases)
Local pubs were friendly and not too busy, though pre-booking a table is advised
The piece and quiet of this cottages location and the thoughtfulness of the host such as the welcome drinks and even treats for our dog that was a nice touch. very clean and tidy cottage ideal for exploring Cornwall and right in centre of bodmin Moor we would definitely stay again when next in Cornwall
After a long day of cycling across Cornwall I received a really warm welcome from the team, I might have been one of the few mid-week guests but I was really well looked after, nothing was too much trouble, and I had a really good evening meal, breakfast and the lodge was perfect.
Restaurant was excellent. Food was perfect on each occasion. Good supply of tea, milk etc. Comfortable furniture. Basic toiletries provided: shampoo, shower gel and soap. All staff encountered were excellent despite the hotel and restaurant being very busy.
A proper home from home. The cottage had everything we needed. It was all up to date and the bed was lovely. Nice quiet spot within easy reach of destinations throughout Cornwall.
It's very rural. A true Cornwall experience! The owners the most pleasant and accommodating. If you're looking for genuine Cornwall hospitality, this is the place!
Great location, all major coastal resorts only an average 40 minutes drive away. Lovely site in the countryside, easy access to the local town (Lanivet)
