Rottal Bothy was very cozy and well equipped. Lovely welcome pack with champagne and chocollates was waiting on us. Had a very good time, also nature around was beutiful with lot to see and explore. Higly recomending

Kirriemuir is a town in the valley of Strathmore, regarded as the gateway to the Angus Glens, which offer some of Scotland's most unspoiled landscape. The town was the birthplace of novelist JM Barrie, creator of Peter Pan, the house is now a museum looked after by the National Trust. Kirriemuir offers an Aviation Museum, Glamis Castle and the Pictish Stones at Meigle, while the Angus Glens offer walking and climbing. With shops, hotels and pubs in the town and surrounding area, there is something here to suit all tastes.
