Roz has worked as a counsellor-trainer and psychotherapist, and Jo as founder-director of a centre for facilitator training and personal/professional development. We're retired now, but enjoy meeting people from different places and cultures. We've been Airbnb-hosting our 'Secluded cosy cabin' since April 2017 and also, more recently, our 'Secluded Annexe'. The Annexe adjoins the main house where we, Roz and Jo live. We are usually around if you need any help or have any questions. The Annexe is secluded behind a detached house up a private drive with a beautiful garden, and has a patio under a wisteria-covered pergola. It's fully equipped for long stays if necessary. The main room has a double bed, ample storage and TV; and there's central heating and hi-speed wifi. The kitchen includes a washing machine, and the bathroom has unlimited hot water. The Annexe adjoins the main house, but the adjoining wall in the kitchen is soundproofed, and we respect your privacy.

In Cornwall you're never far from the sea and, with its beautiful bay, St Austell is no exception. Bounded by the typical fishing village and harbour of Mevagissey to the West, and the quaint yacht haven and deep estuary of Fowey to the East, the bay has magnificent sandy beaches and tucked away coves, and seals can sometimes be seen basking -though you may need to bring or hire a kayak to see them. St Austell's ancient port of Charlestown - a favourite for film sets including 'Poldark' - has excellent eateries and there are plenty of old inns round the bay. The Annexe is just 5 minutes walk to the main-line train station where buses shuttle every half hour to the Eden Project -(there's an entry discount for arrival by bus). The park, indoor swimming pool, and town centre are 5 minutes walk. Charlestown port, St Austell Bay beaches, The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Mevagissey are within 15 minutes drive, Truro 25, and in 1 hour you can reach almost anywhere in Cornwall - including the main centres by train.
