Amazing location and great accommodations right in the center of Broadstairs, perfect for exploring and enjoying the local beaches and Kent coast. Wife and I had a great stay in the quirky, clean, comfortable Smugglers Cottage with all the amenities one would need and easy (free) parking and many great restaurants less than 10 mins walk away.

Hi our names are Beverley & Phil, and we manage self catering cottages in Broadstairs . We have been in the hospitality trade for over 30 years now and so have lots of experience of what people need for their well earned holiday. We have lived in Broadstairs most of our lives so know both the area and all it has to offer very well. We try to be the very best hosts we can be and personally ensure that every guest is happy with their cottage and have an enjoyable holiday in Broadstairs. We are always here to answer any questions our guests may have. I really enjoy making sure that all of our customers have a great stay, with 5 star customer care! If you want to know the best restaurants, pubs or beaches to visit then just let me know and I'll be happy to assist. I'm always here to help! I have understood what everyone is looking for and number one is cleanliness which is at the top of our list. We will work hard to ensure that your stay here in Broadstairs is both comfortable and enjoyable so hopefully you'll want to return again!

Smugglers Cottage - This little gem built in around the 1860's has been completely refurbished and is tucked away in a quiet courtyard called Church Square. A lovely atmosphere has been created in this cottage with added beams through out and been newly refurbished an a light and airy sea side theme. We would like to point out to all future guests that the cottage is set on four floors connected via a steep spiral staircase so this property may not be suitable for people with any mobility issues or small children.

Neighborhood info

The cottage is set in a quite court yard with every thing on your door step. You really could not wish for a better location, it is tucked away from any noise of traffic. Quaint shops, great pubs, restaurants and superb golden sandy beaches are all only a minutes' walk away. We are fortunate enough to have an excellent bus system on the Isle. The Thanet Loop’ is one of the most frequent services in the UK, running on average every 10 minutes and operates 7 days a week, from early morning until late evening. This service provides excellent connections between Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate. Other bus services offered by Stagecoach will enable easy access to the villages. The number 8 bus provides excellent links from Thanet to the nearby city of Canterbury. A ‘Day rider' ticket is ideal for exploring the area, allowing you to hop-on or hop-off at any point, without limits.
