The location is really nice, it had a very nice view. The house was extremely comfortable to stay in, it was warm, clean and the beds were very nice. Easy to locate things in the kitchen. The outside of the house is lovely too. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Refurbished in October 2021, Sophia’s House is a modern and comfortable 2 bed home in the centre of Torquay. Just a short walk to the famous Torquay seafront and marina where you can find a variety of restaurants, bars and fresh fish and chips. It is the perfect base for a seaside getaway, with its location and garden space. It can sleep up to 4 people and has a fully equipped kitchen with an inside and outdoor seating area. The property has private parking for 1 car, as well as nearby on street parking too. When booking with us your stay will be protected by a deposit guarantee and public liability provided by our risk management partner, SUPERHOG. Neighborhood info

The house is located on a quiet road in the heart of Torquay. It is a 5-10 minute walk to both town and the seafront, Torre Abbey green, bus stops, restaurants, cafes and the harbour. Sophias house has a private parking space for one car and there is nearby street parking for a second car. Torquay has so much to offer for a getaway, however if you wanted to explore further afield there is fantastic links to Paignton, Brixham, Shaldon and Teignmouth by bus, car or train. The train station is conveniently on the seafront with links to most of the surrounding area. You can also catch a ferry from the harbour over to the fishing town of Brixham, which only takes 20 minutes and offers fantastic views of Torbay.
