The Strathmore is a Porritt house, a name given to the builders who were wealthy East Lancashire Mill owners who in the early 1900s invested in the area building these large family homes with servants quarters for the wealthy families to use as summer homes, taking in the famous fresh sea air of Lytham St Annes. The Strathmore has retained many of these original features.
The Strathmore is fabulously placed, it is a few minutes walk into the town or onto the sea front. There is a lovely park just 50 metres away. You can catch the bus at the end of the road and the station is only five minutes walk away. Despite its location parking on the road outside the property is usually available free all year round.
