The total ‘get away from it’ location, 4 Skyreholme Mill Cottages is a fully renovated 3 bed house located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, bordering the village of Appletreewick. The ideal home to base yourself from wether you wish to explore the area by foot, visit the many villages of Wharfedale & Nidderdale or the Spa towns of Ilkley, Harrogate or York or simply relax taking in the views of Simons seat (Part of the Bolton Abbey estate) from your south facing garden.
The Yorkshire Dales are home to some truly breath-taking landscapes. With two protected areas, wild heather covering the moorland, towns and villages full of unique charm and a wonderful peaceful atmosphere, it is a place not to be missed. Whether you’re looking for a summer getaway to explore the landscapes or a winter break to cosy up in a country cottage, you will not be disappointed with the Yorkshire Dales. You can travel to, from and around the area by car, bus or train. There are a number of routes allowing you to travel around the Yorkshire Dales with ease. Bus services within the National Park run throughout the year linking the main towns, villages, and popular attractions, with additional services running during the summer months. The train services give fantastic access to the Dales on one of the most spectacular train journeys in England. With links to mainline stations there is no limit to your journey.
