Situated in the heart of Hertford, within 20 miles from London, Squires House is the perfect house for you and your group to explore Hertfordshire and London. Squires house has a large garden leading to the river bank of the Lea River with a large outdoor entertainment area, including a state of the art kitchen, decking area for a large group and outdoor bar. In the evening you can use the large cast iron fire pit to keep you warm, Squires House is located within the heart for Hertford Town, just a few minutes walk from the main high street where you will find a great selection of local shops, restaurants and pubs. Hertford has a large range of pubs and wine bars to suit all ages and some of these enjoy the views over the River Lea. Hertford Castle and a large Park Hartman Common with excellent green space and a brad new leisure centre is within few minutes walk. If you fancy a run or walk there is a lovely walk in the forest to Cowper Green. Hertford new cinema and many more new restaurants with riverside restaurants and bars will open in the summer of 2024. All of this within a few minutes walking distance from the house. The house offers 5 large bedrooms and 1 smaller room with a sofabed set out over 4 floors. There are 4 bathrooms on each of the floor. In the basement we have a reception room as well as a cinema room, with a shower/bathroom and an utility room with washing and drying machine. There is a built in bar in the summer house at the bottom of the river Lea.

We have lived in Hertford for 8 years now and love the town and especially the location of our house. It offers a variety of things to do in town however if you like to relax the house has the perfect serene setting in the garden where you can enjoy the lovely garden with gorgeous flowers and roses whilst enjoying the river view at the bottom of the garden. And why enjoy a lovely relaxing time in the hot tub which is heated with logs. It is a great house and we would love to share our love for this house with our new guests too! We can offer catering too upon request.
