Welcome to our lovely holiday home set close to wonderful countryside and rural escapes! We live very local and are happy to help with any information and local guidance which may help you enjoy your stay. We have lived in the area most of our lives and know lots of walks both local and further afield. As well as knowledge of the many local attractions this area as to offer.
We are situated miles from junction 39 of M1 located between Huddersfield, Barnsley and Wakefield. Denby Dale train station is a short walk away and we have bus routes going to Huddersfield, Wakefield and Holmfirth. There are several pubs within walking distance plus takeaways, petrol stations and small supermarkets nearby. We even have very popular Indian and Thai restaurants within walking distance. A local gym and public swimming pool is a couple of miles drive. Local attractions include, Last of the Summer Wine town Holmfirth, Cannon Hall Farm, Holmfirth Vineyard, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and may more. You are able to walk to the Sculpture Park and Cannon Hall via countryside footpaths. The Pennine Way Trail and The Peak District National Park are also close by.
