Hexham Holiday Homes was established in 2018 after owner, Jordan Dodwell, decided to 'airbnb' his apartment after moving into his partners house. This immediately took off and now there are 10 properties in our portfolio. Some of which are currently under refurbishment prior to going on the market. We plan to keep the business small to ensure we continue to offer a professional & reliable service from a small team. We employ a team of hard working cleaners who maintain Jordans High standards throughout the year. While staying with us you will receive discounts in selected local shops and eateries as well as a vast amount of information about the area. Once you have booked with us you will receive an online information pack which is filled with information on the property & its surroundings. A member of the team (usually Jordan) is always around to assist guests with any help or advice, should they require it, during their stay.

Property info

This traditional, yet modern holiday cottage is nestled discreetly away on the edge of Hexham, with views overlooking the whole of the town. Despite Hexham Abbey being in the distance as you admire from the garden, it is less than a 15 minute walk to the town centre. Head only 100m out the door and be prepared to get lost in the wilderness of swallowship woods with countless paths winding down to Devils water. Traveling further afield you can find the famous roman forts of housesteads and vindolanda only a 20 minute drive away and they are easily accessible on the local bus service. A relaxing roll top bath, luxury mattress’ and bed linen help your body relax after a long day exploring Northumberland. The delegated group chef can cook up a storm in the well resourced kitchen or perhaps you all cosy up Infront of the log burner enjoying a takeout using one of our discount codes. As per all our properties, the spectacular Northumbrian coastline and the gateway to the lake district are only 1hr away, meaning this cottage is a perfect base for exploring this beautiful part of the UK.
