The three bedroomed apartment was spacious. There were three adults (and two dogs!) and we could sit comfortably in the lounge, and around the dining room table (not the dogs of course!). The bedrooms were also spacious with large wardrobes. There were also two bathrooms which is necessary for three adults. There was also a lot of storage under the stairs which was ideal to put our walking shoes, walking rucksacks and hang our coats.

Tewitfield Marina is a purpose built hamlet of Marina holiday apartments situated alongside the Lancaster canal on the Lancashire and Cumbria border. This is a perfect place to stay with easy access to some of Britain’s best loved countryside with both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Parks 30 minutes drive away. Also close by is the historic city of Lancaster with its Castles, Museums, Retail outlets and Parks or visit the seaside town of Morecambe, famous for its breathtaking sunsets looking across the bay and over the Lakeland fells.
