The house itself is wonderful, beautiful, clean, huge, comfy, classy. We enjoyed it immensely, especially the monster couch in the living room! There is a sea view, though it's somewhat limited and blocked by a tree; I still loved being able to look at it. I'm disabled and was at the house most of the time but my family found it easy to drive to places (car definitely required for this one) once they knew the way. I already miss that couch, it really was fantastic. Beds were absolutely comfy too, and the kitchen is huge! There were six of us and we didn't get under each other's feet at all, which is a rare luxury. :) Owner was contactable and helpful when we needed assistance.

Converted in 2017, this unique barn offers quiet country living & sea views with the added convenience of being near Stonehaven & Aberdeen. The barn boasts four bedrooms and four bathrooms and a luxury copper bath with TV for you to relax in. Ideally located 5 mins drive from Stonehaven where you can enjoy a number of activities including Golf, Paddle boarding, Dunnotar Castle, great food and many more. The stay is also 15 mins drive from Aberdeen City. Garden/Grounds: The Barn has a large garden area and terrace facing towards the sea which is excellent to relax in on summer days. There is an outdoor table & BBQ at the disposal of the guests however we ask that the guests ensure the BBQ grills are cleaned after use. There is ample parking for multiple cars. The Barn (Sleeps 8): The open plan kitchen / diner / Living area is the perfect space for entertaining. It is fully equipped with a Range cooker, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, pans, cutlery and glasses. There is also a wood burning stove within this area.
